Local Craft Beverage Scene:
The Monticello American Viticultural Area (AVA), including the Monticello Wine Trail was named by Wine Enthusiast the 2023 Wine Region of the Year receiving the Wine Star Award. Many of our local vineyards are part of this award-winning region.
Orange County also had an impressive showing in this year’s 2024 Virginia Governor's Cup. Barboursville Vineyards, The Barn at 678 Vineyard, Honah Lee Vineyard, Reynard Florence Vineyard, and Woodbrook Farm Vineyard received numerous gold, silver, and bronze medal wins! The Atlantic Seaboard Wine Association awarded Chateau Merrillanne a Best of Category award for the Atlantic Seaboard Wine Association (ASWA's) most recent competition.

Patch Brewery is a new favorite spot by our locals. Offering a dog park, baseball field, outdoor beer garden, indoor beer garden, and pavilion along with a
great variety of tasty brews located in Gordonsville.

Located a short drive away in Charlottesville visit Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson, the third President of the United States and author of The Declaration of Independence.
